Bath Time!

Ella loves the bath! I have been meaning to take some pictures of her for a while. She especially loves duckies! She can even say ducky! When it is time for bath we say, "Ella, do you want to go swimming!" She usually will hurry upstairs to the bathroom. Mia and I sing to her, "Ella bella, you're the one, you make bath time so much fun, Ella bella we're awfully fond of you, you missy sue!"

The soccer game!

Saturday night Riley and I went to a professional soccer game with his team. Unfortunately, it rained the whole night! We had some ponchos left over from the BYU game. We were a little afraid to wear them in U of U territory though (they have BYU printed all over them). The game was amazing to watch though. I think that I have decided that I really like to watch soccer. Riley had a good time despite the rain. He did not complain about the rain once. Towards the end of the game we found out that he was cheering for the opposing team (Colorado). I think he thought that since we were in the U of U stadium that we should cheer for the opposing team. The funny thing is that he was able to go on to the field before the game and was given a SLC Real t-shirt to wear. The kids got to make a tunnel for the team and then the players ran through and gave them 5. So here he is wearing a Real t-shirt and cheering for Colorado! At one point in the game he got a little bored and said that he wanted to go on the field and play with them! Since we got back from the game he has been practicing around the house a lot (yes, in the house!!) with a soccer ball. I heard him telling Mia that if she practices a lot she could be a professional soccer player too! So that was the game. We were drenched and it rained the whole time, so I did not take any pictures.

A Fun Day!

Last Saturday, the kids and I went to the grand opening of Partyland. We got up at 5:30 am and waited in line to get free webkinz (the stuffed animals they are holding). Riley and Mia love webkinz because they have online worlds. At the party they had free rides, face painting, colored hair spraying, and free cotton candy and popcorn. It was really fun for the kids, and best of all, free for me! We were first, second and third in line so we were able to get three free webkinz! The kids thought I was the best mom in the world for about 5 hours! I even got my face painted! They wanted to have their pictures taken with their webkinz and their colored hair and face painting. It was worth it to lose a Saturday morning of sleep.

SOCCER!!!

Here are some pictures of Riley playing soccer this year. I haven't had a chance to take any of Mia (it is hard to take pictures when I have Ella with me and I haven't had a chance to go to one of Mia's games alone). Riley and I are going to a Salt Lake REAL game this weekend! I am excited as I have never been to a professional soccer game.

Ella discovers toilet paper rolls

This was about a week ago, but we have been soooo busy with soccer, dance, homework, piano, violin, pta etc. Ella was having so much fun with the toilet paper roll that I had to take pictures! I will try to catch up and post some pictures of soccer and some of the other things the kids and I have been doing the past couple of weeks.

BYU Football and Ella learns to Walk!!!

As you can see, this family is ready for BYU football season! Ryan and Mia went to the first game. Riley will have his turn next home game. The kids really enjoy going to games with their dad.

While they were at the game, Karen and I spent some quality time with Ella and we were able to get her to take a few steps at a time! It was really fun. She is making progress. She just doesn't seem that interested. She sure is talking a lot though. She tries to copy words that we say. We were showing her pictures of my dad and she learned to say "bapa" for grandpa. She even said it on the phone for him.
